On February 11, 2026, Senior Pastor Jan Frederickson graduated to Heaven. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Pastor Ken Frederickson; their five children—Ken Jr., Kim, Tracy, Mike, and Keisha; and their ten grandchildren. Although some are not their biological children, Pastor Jan and Pastor Ken always welcomed anyone the Lord led to them, embracing each person as family. Pastor Jan also carried a remarkable gift of hospitality – a blessing she often attributed to her mother. She would affectionately reassure others that God would provide enough food for every meal, even when guests arrived unexpectedly.
Pastor Jan remained vibrant and full of life until the day she went home at the age of 82. Her cause of death is unknown and has been described as natural.
Pastor Jan often said that dying was a “win–win situation,” because she knew where she was going. She loved sharing the salvation message with others, even those seated next to her on an airplane. The back of her calling card featured several verses from the book of Romans:
Pastor Jan often said asking Jesus into her heart was the best decision she ever made. She received Jesus as her Lord and Savior—and the Holy Spirit—in the basement of St. Therese Catholic Church in Appleton.
Pastor Jan and Pastor Ken began in ministry together 24 years ago. Their legacy is El Shaddai Christian Fellowship, a Bible-based, Word of Faith church built in 2003 in Kaukauna, WI. The building was constructed debt-free and continues to remain debt-free today.
A Celebration of Life has not yet been scheduled, and details will be announced once a date is set. As Pastor Ken continues to heal from this sudden loss and his recent back injury, the Frederickson family kindly asks that calls be postponed for now. They are deeply grateful for the prayers, love, and steadfast support surrounding them during this difficult time.

- We’ve all sinned (Romans 3:23)
- The wage of sin is death, but the gift of God (Jesus) is eternal life (Romans 6:23)
- Whosoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved (Romans 10:13)
